AICELL MMC: A NEW DYNAMIC IN QUALITY ASSURANCE

With the AICell MMC (Mobile Measurement Cell), we make our Inline Excellence available for applications where a permanently installed cell isn’t the right solution. Instead of being installed on the production line, the MMC is moved to wherever it’s needed. It’s ready to go immediately, integrates quickly into existing processes and delivers reliable measurement and test data starting with the very first part.

This opens the door to industries that previously could not easily utilize our technology: Mechanical engineering, aerospace, suppliers and medium-sized manufacturers. Wherever production volumes, component sizes or production line configurations make a fixed-installation cell impractical, the mobile design offers a clear advantage. Measurement cycles become shorter, part throughput increases and downtime decreases.

The MMC is based on a robust platform and comes in three variants, each tailored to a specific task.

AICell with AIMax cloud II

Cycle-time-compatible geometric measurement of complex features, with early trend and deviation detection. The result: less scrap and a robust database that enables processes to be monitored and, subsequently, automatically controlled. Integration into existing automation and IT/PLC environments is straightforward.

AICell trace

Traceable inline measurement data with high system accuracy in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10360-8. Reliable results without time-consuming correlation. As a result, the AICell trace reduces the workload of - or replaces - traditional production measurement rooms and brings the quality of a measurement laboratory directly to the production floor.

AICell surface

Fully automated in-line surface inspection that reliably detects dents, waviness, and scratches. Multi-Color-Light ensures high inspection reliability, while trend analyses provide the basis for targeted corrective actions. Clear algorithms and defined inspection methods enable quick commissioning.
