Recap: Automatica 2025 in Munich

NEWSTON's first official brand launch in front of industry representatives and an international audience of experts

In June 2025, NEWSTON made its debut with its own brand presence at automatica in Munich. That alone was a special moment for us.

But what really made the days in Munich special was the response: Many conversations at our booth, enthusiastic feedback, and the confirmation that our field of work is highly relevant to the industry.

Together with our partners Intrinsic and Bürkert Fluid Control Systems, we demonstrated what is possible today through the combination of measurement technology, robotics, and platform software.

Our AICell MMC, the mobile measurement cell for flexible quality assurance, was shown to the public for the first time in Munich, in a configuration that enables AI-supported optical inspection. It runs on the web-based Intrinsic Intelligence platform, which supports robotic automation from planning through simulation to execution. Bürkert Fluid Control Systems brought the user perspective to the table, offering the viewpoint of an industry that works with such solutions on a daily basis.

A highlight from our perspective was a panel discussion featuring Dr. Kai-Udo Modrich (CEO of NEWSTON), Stefan Nusser (Chief Product & Commercial Officer at Intrinsic), and Stefan Müller (CTO at Bürkert), moderated by Henrike Neulen (Business Development at Intrinsic).

The discussion made it clear that the collaboration between the three companies is no coincidence, but rather the answer to concrete questions arising from real-world practice.
